Seven booked for beating family

OKARA: Sadar police on Saturday booked seven people for beating four people, including a woman, over a property dispute at 39/3R village. Abdul Qayyum and his family members were present at their home when his in-laws, including Bashir Ahmad, Liaqat, Sharif, Rafaqat, Sifarish, Tahir and Karam Hussain entered the house and allegedly beat and tortured Qayyum, his sons Sajid Ali and Abid Ali and daughter-in-law Sumera Bibi. They allegedly tore-off her dress and manhandled her.
