Burial of infant stopped by force

NAWABSHAH: An influential landlord stopped by force the burial of a minor infant in the graveyard near his village and refilled the excavated grave. The burial of the infant was later held in the presence of police. Faqeer Muhammad Detho, father of three-year-old child Farhan told media that his child died naturally and they excavated a grave for him in the nearby graveyard named Pir Peeral.
Faqeer Muhammad Detho, who was peasant, said that the area landlord Muhammad Hassan Bhind had a petty issue with him, thus he ordered to stop the burial and refill the grave. Relatives of the deceased child said that they informed about the incident to another landlord Nazo Dharejo who strongly condemned the incident, staged demonstration along with relatives of the child and informed the police. On the other hand, SHO Qazi Ahmed Hussain Ali Kharal on the instructions of SSP Tanweer Hussain Tunio reached the village and arranged the burial of the child in its presence. He said that FIR was registered against the landlord and investigation was in progress.
