ARL holds Plant Maintenance & Operation Conference

Rawalpindi: The third Plant Maintenance & Operation Conference -ARMOC-2017 was organised by Attock Refinery Limited (ARL), says a press release.
Imminent speakers and participants from widely diverse fields attended this prestigious event. The aim of this Conference was to provide an opportunity and forum to multidimensional stakeholders both in public and private sectors to share their challenges and endeavors in the field of Plant Maintenance, Operations, Project, Inspection and Planning focusing on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industry etc.
M. Adil Khattak, Chief Executive Officer ARL in his opening address highlighted the significance of Plant Maintenance & Operation in today’s business environment and importance of sharing best business practices.
Plant Maintenance and Operations in any process industry is a complex and demanding function and absence of proper procedures, follow-up and preventive measures can lead to serious risks and consequences. The conference meant to contribute to learning from common experiences, gain valuable knowledge, better working relationship, local resources availability knowhow, gap identification, benchmarking with best Maintenance & Operations strategies and gaining updates on the latest Plant Management Solutions. It was also a manifestation of the growing awareness and realization of the importance of Plant Maintenance & Operations in the Petrochemical sector, he said.
In a one day event, ARL managed to get together professionals from major industries of diverse sectors under one roof to explore a very different type of leadership - one where we share knowledge - not only our solutions and best practices but also our problems and challenges. An additional feature of this conference was displaying of stalls by reputed companies/suppliers in the Oil & Gas sector, the delegates had the opportunity to know about the latest developments and cutting edge technologies in products and services offered by these companies.
