BISHAM: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) provincial president Amir Muqam said on Friday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had failed to contain the spread of dengue fever.

Speaking at separate public meetings in Dheri Ghorban, Kozkana and Oleander, he said the PTI-led was tainted by the dengue fever and the virus exposed its hollow claims.

He alleged the government even did not provide proper medical assistance to the affected people and instead was waiting for winter to set in as dropping temperature was not favourable for dengue mosquitoes.

Amir Muqam said PTI chief Imran Khan was dreaming of becoming prime minister but the dream would never come true.

He added that the PTI raised the slogan of
change but failed to bring about any in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Amir Muqam said the people of the province voted for the party but the PTI instead wasted its time by indulging in none issues.

The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were matured enough and they would reject the party in the upcoming election.

“The people would reject the PTI in the next general election,” he hoped.

Amir Muqam, who is also an advisor to prime minister, inaugurated a road and a bridge in Olander village and also announced new schemers for Kozkana area.

Activists of other political parties also joined the PML-N on the occasion.

Amir Muqam thanked the people of his native Shangla district for what he argued their unflinching support through thick and thin and vowed to leave no stone unturned to solve the problems of the district.
