AWKU Timergara campus announces admission to MS
TIMERGARA: The Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKU), Timergara campus, has announced admission to MS (1.5 years).
Coordinator for AWKU Timergara campus Minhajuddin said here on Thursday they had been trying hard for initiating MS classes at the campus for the last six years.
“Offering MS degree to students is an achievement of AWKU Timergara campus,” he said, and added that the campus was providing facilities to students parallel to that of the University of Peshawar,” he said.
He added that currently the campus was offering MS degree in four disciplines, including economics, computer science, sociology and management science.
Chairman Department of Management Science, Nadeemul Haq, said currently, a total of 600 students were getting quality education in various disciplines at the campus.
Initially, 50 seats had been announced in the MS programme, he added.
“We have requested the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Muzaffar Said to establish another department in AWKU Timergara campus so that it may be elevated to the status of a full-fledged varsity, Nadeemul Haq added.
