PESHAWAR: The members of Gawaldi Awami Tehreek on Tuesday staged a protest against the delay in construction of a road in Upper Dir and alleged corruption in a public health scheme there.
The protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the delay in construction of a Gawaldi road and in favour of their demands.
Gawaldi Awami Tehreek Chairman Bakhtiar Advocate, Deputy Chairman Malik Usman and others were leading the protesters. They gathered in front of the Peshawar Press Club and staged the protest.
