‘5 schools being given under control of QDPS’

GUJRANWALA: As many as five schools of the city are being given under the control of the Quaid-i-Azam Divisional Public School (QDPS) to provide better facilities to the students.
It was told by Commissioner Khawaja Shumail Ahmad here on Saturday. The commissioner said that the schools would arrange funds for furniture, books and uniform for the students with the help of philanthropists. He said that teachers would be appointed against vacant posts and teachers training would be arranged for enhancing standard of education. The schools which were selected include Government Khawaja Elementary School, Government Model Primary School Noshera Road and Government Primary School Shaheenabad, he added.
BODY FOUND: An unidentified dead body of a man was found from the Jinnah Stadium on Saturday.
Police sources said that the deceased was seemed to be an addict. The police have sent the body to a hospital for post-mortem.
