PNF to hold trials on Sept 14, 15 for Asian Netball

KARACHI: Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) will hold open trials on September 14 and 15 here at PSB Coaching Centre to select the squad for Asian Men’s Netball Championship to be held in Kuala Lumpur in December.
Apart from Pakistan and hosts Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brunei, Chinese Taipei, Sri Lanka, Maldives, India, Iran, Afghanistan and Japan will take part in the event. Pakistan won silver medal in the last edition.
The PNF will pick 20 players during the trials and will then conduct a training camp in October. PNF has sent a letter to all affiliated units to send their players for the trials. PNF selection committee comprises chairman Ajaz ul Haque and members Muhammad Riaz, Anwar Ahmed Ansari, Toqeer Ahmed and Muhammad Rizwan. —
