Q1: I am an accountant in a multinational company at Sialkot for the last 15 years. I want to do LLB and as later I want to start practice in law. Kindly guide me from where should I get degree without attending classes because I can’t leave my job. (Naveed Arshad- Sialkot)

Ans: My first advice to you would be not to do ordinary law as you are an accountant by profession and experience. If you are still interested in doing law then I would suggest, you look at doing Corporate Law or Tax Law and for this I am not sure whether you would find many institutes in Sialkot but certainly you can look at through the internet that who else offers Corporate Law and you can do it without leaving your job.

Q2: My question is that I have obtained 77% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) after improvement of one year. I have strong desire to get in medical college but unfortunately due to high rise in merit I am not able to make it. Now, I have two career options which best suits me, i-e; BS Psychology or DPT? I am confused which field I should opt. Kindly advise which has better scope in Pakistan? (Sarah- Islamabad)

Ans: If you want to become a medical science student without having to do a professional degree such as MBBS, I would suggest you to opt a 4-year honor in Microbiology or Biochemistry following which you will have many options to work in hospitals alongside doctors as health specialist and pathologist who are in high demand.

Q3: My daughter is doing BS honors in Micro Bio. What are the future prospects/scopes of this field? (Khalid Azhar- Faisalabad)

Ans: This is a very innovative and emerging subject area once she completes her Bachelors degree. I would suggest she should look doing Masters in Genetics or DNA Analysis which comes under Genomatics. This will enable her to work on research of different viruses alongside those who are working in developing new drugs for viruses and have a huge demand.

Q4: I am confused to select an engineering field for me; therefore, please let me know that should I apply for Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering? Which field has better scope? (Anas- Mirpur)

Ans: The reply to your question is none or better then Mechatronics which combines Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and gives you an edge over single subject specialisation. I advise you to search the subject on Internet for further details.

Q5: I did FSc (Pre-Engineering) with 70% marks. Later on, I did BSc from Sargodha University in which my main subjects were (General Math, Computer Science and Economics). Please guide me that should I apply for Masters in Economics or I should apply for Masters in Agriculture Economics? (Syed Raza- Sargodha)

Ans: You seem to be an intelligent student and you should attempt MSc Economics and perhaps then look up to appear for CSS with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Masters in Economics as it should not be too difficult.
