PESHAWAR: The Pakistan People’s Party-Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB), Khyber Pakhtun-khwa chapter, will take part in the upcoming general election and field own candidates in all constituencies after completing its organisations.

Speaking at a news conference here in the Peshawar Press Club on Monday, the PPP-SB president Syed Salim Shah and provincial women wing president Rena Malik said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rulers raised the slogan of change but did nothing practical for the welfare of people.

Salim Shah observed that instead of combating dengue virus, the PTI rulers did not cooperate with the medical team from Punjab government. He said they would pursue the PPP workers and unite them under the leadership of Fatima Bhutto and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Junior.

Salim Shah said they would pave the way for the real leaders Fatima Bhutto and Zulfiqar Junior to put an end to terrorism, sectarianism, unemployment and corruption in the country, if voted to power. He asked the federal government to reopen the cases of all those corrupt people, who had been released after striking deals with authorities.
