Hydropower station completed in Kurram

PESHWAR: The political administration has completed construction of a micro hydel power station in Sarpakh village of central Kurram Agency.
A press release from the Fata Secretariat said that the administration completed the power station under the Fata Development Programme and it has a capacity of producing 25 kilowatts electricity.
It added that the project would electrify about 150 households of Sarpakh village and fulfilling their routine electricity needs.
The release added that the power station was constructed in Kurram Agency because the area had been facing heavy load-shedding since long.
