Martyred policeman’s funeral held

The funeral prayer of Police Constable Rehmatullah, who was martyred in a gun attack on Tipu Sultan Road a day earlier, was held at the Police Headquarters, Garden, on Friday.
A special police squad presented a salute to the martyred cop at the service which was attended by Sindh IGP AD Khowaja, Corps Commander Shahid Baig Mirza, Sindh Rangers DG Maj Gen Mohammad Saeed and other senior officers.
IGP Khowaja vowed to bring the killers to justice and said action against criminals would be accelerated. “No terrorist can escape the law. The sacrifices of our martyred soldiers will not be in vain,” he asserted.
