Deputy mayor briefs German ambassador, CG on uplift efforts

Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan Martin Kobler along with German Consul General in Karachi Rainer Schmiedchen and First Secretary Martin Herzez called on Karachi Deputy Mayor Dr Arshad Abdullah Vohra at his office on Friday. 

As per a statement issued, the dignitaries and the deputy mayor discussed matters of mutual interest with Vohra also briefing the visitors on measures taken by Karachi’s municipal authorities to improve civic facilities for citizens.

The deputy mayor spoke of the longstanding relations between Germany and Pakistan and lauded the former’s important role in the development and progress of Pakistan. Ambassador Kobler thanked Vohra for his hospitality and expressed best wishes for effective development measures throughout Karachi.
