Hot, humid weather to prevail

LAHORE: Hot and humid weather continued to prevail in the city here Wednesday while Met office predicted that similar weather will prevail in the next 24 hours.
Met officials said weak seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan while a westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most part of the country while rain-thunderstorm is expected at few places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Rainfall was only recorded in Bunji and Hunza while Wednesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Dadu, Nokkundi, Dalbandin, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad and Bhakkar where mercury reached 41°C. In Lahore, it was 35°C, minimum was 27.7°C and humidity was 49 percent.
