PCB holds farewell ceremony for Shaharyar

KARACHI: PCB hosted a farewell ceremony in honour of the outgoing chairman Shaharyar Khan on Wednesday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Talking to the audience, newly-elected chairman Najam Sethi thanked Shaharyar for his contribution to Pakistan cricket. He shed light on the illustrious career of Shaharyar and mentioned his experience with the outgoing chairman.

He mentioned how he and Shaharyar Khan had worked hard to bring forward the soft image of Pakistan’s cricket. Shaharyar thanked Sethi and his senior management for their support to him in the last three years. He also lauded the coaching staff and the selection committee for the team’s recent victory in the ICC Champions Trophy.
