Action ordered against illegal recruitment of teachers
A day after Sindh High Court Chief Justice Justice Ahmed Ali M Shaikh took suo motu notice on a report regarding lack of basic facilities in Sindh’s schools and sought a detailed report to this effect from secretary education within a week, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday directed the education department to investigate illegal appointments of teachers on district level and report back to him.
“I will not allow any illegal entry in the teaching cadre. I need best teachers appointed through the National Testing Service,” Murad said while presiding over a meeting to review progress of the education department and its different projects.
The meeting was attended by Planning & Development minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, education minister Jam Mehtab Dahar, P&D Chairman Mohammad Waseem, principal secretary to CM Sohail Rajput, finance secretary Hassan Naqvi, education secretary (schools) Aziz Uqaili.
