BMW’s keys given in Geo programme finally handed over to Sarfraz Ahmed

KARACHI: Skipper of the national cricket team has said that after the Champions Trophy, all the players are in the field and are working harder than before. He was addressing a ceremony organised in his honour in Karachi by the JS Bank and Dewan Motors on Thursday, in which he was handed over the keys of BMW X1 Series, earlier given to him in Geo’s programme “Geo Khelo Pakistan” after the victory in the Champions Trophy, by Director Operations Dewan Motors Kashif Riaz and group head of CRDG of JS Bank Group Kamran Jaffar.

The national skipper said that it was his desire to purchase a BMW which he got in Geo’s programme, for which he was thankful to the administration of Geo, Dewan Motors and JS Bank. He said that it was a matter of honour for him to play the county cricket for Yorkshire; before him Younis Ahmed and Inzamam ul Haq have played for the county. He said that he was thankful to Allah for the appreciation he got after the victory in the Champions Trophy. He said that he would work harder in future.

On the occasion, the group head of JS Bank Kamran Jaffar said that the way Sarfraz Ahmed brightened the name of the nation and the country was a matter of pride for everyone. He hoped that Sarfraz would lead the team the same way and would achieve more victories.

While addressing the ceremony, Director Operations Dewan Motors Kashif Riaz said that Sarfraz got victory by his outstanding disciplinary capabilities, he boosted the morale of players in hard times. He said that Sarfraz wanted to buy a BMW car and in this regard, he had discussed it with Dewan Sahab. Our company decided to give him the car. He further said that they would continue to encourage the people raising the nation’s name with pride.
