Tenure of acting FDE chief extended

Islamabad: The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has extended the term of Hasnat Qureshi as the acting chief of the Federal Directorate of Education, which oversees the government schools and colleges in Islamabad Capital Territory.
He will continue acting as a stand-in for the permanent FDE director general (BPS-20). Hasnat Qureshi, who is also the interim chairman of the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority, was given the additional charge of the FDE DG’s office on April 14 ‘for a period of three months or till the availability of regular incumbent of the post, whichever is earlier.’
