MINGORA: Five children sustained injuries in a hand-grenade blast near a private school in Barikot tehsil of Swat district, official sources said.
They said the children were playing near the school in Shamozai village when they found the hand-grenade in the pile of sand. The hand-grenade exploded when the children started playing with it, the sources said. Five children sustained injuries in the explosion.
The injured children were identified as Muhammad Idrees, Nizamullah, Habib Khan, Sanan Khan and Muhammad Munir. All the children were stated to be aged between seven and 10 years.
