Talk on health education held

Rawalpindi: Riphah Academy of Research and Education (RARE), in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) organised Health Professions Education (HPE) Inspirational Talk on “Excellence in Students’ Assessment: how to achieve a milestone?” at  Al-Mizan Campus, Rawalpindi.

The talk was facilitated by Professor Dr. Zarrin Seema Siddiqui. She is a medical educationalist at Education Centre of Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Western Australia.

During the talk Dr. Zarrin shared her experience of developing the assessment for the new curriculum, governance of assessment, quality control & examples of assessment. The objective of talk was to bring the reforms in Pakistan Student Assessment System. She recommended that standard should be formulated for students’ assessment system in Pakistani universities in order to achieve higher learning outcome.

Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad, vice chancellor, Riphah International University graced the occasion as chief guest. Faculty & Post Graduate Students from various universities of Pakistan attended the talk. The session was live broadcast through HEC WebTV.
