Give your guns back
On Sunday (Jun 18), Pakistan won the final match against India in the Champions Trophy. It was indeed an historic win, but what happened after the victory turned celebrations into mourning. People indulge in aerial firing to celebrate the memorable victory. This careless firing took the lives of a few people, including children.
The moment of a national joy turned in to mourning for so many families. This is just not a right way to celebrate. Guns should not be used for celebrations. This kind of celebrations puts the lives of innocent people at risk. The entire nation must condemn this senseless and criminal tradition of aerial firing to celebrate events. The government should ban such celebrations and take action against the people involved in aerial firing.
