Says there will be no raising of finger; PML-N, PTI leaders scuffle to capture podium outside SC

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) a party of goondas, thieves and robbers saying the finger would not be raised anymore.

While talking to media outside the Supreme Court (SC), the minister said the Panama case investigation was a probe into the private businesses of the Sharif family and not any public funding.

She said the PTI always tried hard to fan provocation and chaos in the country. She said that the PTI ridiculed the constitutional institutions of the country.

On the occasion, a scuffle broke out when PTI leader Uzma Kardar rushed to the scene and stopped Marriyum Aurangzeb from media talk due to the podium issue. The minister requested the Supreme Court (SC) to take action on this matter.

She said the PML-N believes in supremacy of law and the Constitution. She said the prime minister presented himself and his family for accountability, respecting the law of the country despite the fact that his name had not been included in the Panama Papers.

The minister said that the prime minister and his family were fulfilling all the legal and constitutional requirements. She said that the PML-N believed in stability of state institutions.She said that under the vibrant leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the foundation of fast pace development had been laid which would ensure a bright future of Pakistan.She said, now, the conscious people of Pakistan had come to know who was involved in hatching conspiracies to halt the process of ongoing development in the country.
