Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the sad demise of Ali Sufiyan Afaqi, senior journalist and prominent writer. In a condolence message, the chief minister said Ali Sufiyan Afaqi’s literary and journalistic services will be remembered for a long time.
NOMINATED
The chief minister has nominated Minister for Finance Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman as Chairman of Governing Body of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Rawalpindi. Notification has been issued in this regard.
Meanwhile, Minister for Finance Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman while presiding over a meeting regarding special allowance to the employees of Special Education Department has set up a sub-committee comprising high ranking officials of Law, Finance, Special Education and S&GAD for the formulation of rules in this regard. The meeting was attended by Minister for Special Education Asif Saeed Minhais and officials of Special Education, S&GAD, Finance and other departments concerned.
