PAL to publish special issues of ‘Adabiyaat’

Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) will publish the individual special issues of its quarterly journal ‘Adabiyaat’ of internationally well recognised Pakistani writers such as Intizar Hussain, Abdullah Hussain and Dr. N.A Baloch, says a press release.
These views were expressed by Dr Muhammad Qasim Bughio, chairman PAL during his briefing on special issues of quarterly Journal ‘Adabiyaat.’ He stated that Intizar Hussain being a novelist and short story writer was of great significance. He was nominated for the ‘Booker Prize’ as well. Pakistan Academy of Letters, while paying a tribute to all these legends is working on its special issue of quarterly journal ‘Adabiyaat.’ In this regard, first issue would be on Intizar Hussain, second special issue would be on great short story writer and novelist Abdullah Hussain and third special issue would be on great writer, critic and translator Dr. N.A Baloch which would be published on the eve of 100th birth anniversary of Dr. N.A Baloch. In these volumes the life, achievements and works of these great writers will be included and through this the coming generations will get awareness of these great writers and their works.
