PTI asks ECP to deploy Rangers for PS-114 by-polls

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct by-elections in PS-114 under the supervision of the Sindh Rangers.  In a joint statement issued on Monday, PTI Karachi president Firdous Naqvi and MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman expressed their apprehensions over possible interference of provincial ministers in by-elections and demanded of the ECP to take measures in this regard.   They said the ministers visiting the constituency were violating the rules and regulations of the election commission.  Naqvi said Chaudhry Awais would contest the by-polls on the party’s ticket.
