Media Festival at SZABIST

Provincial government should join hands with federal government for portraying positive image and national narrative of Pakistan to the world, said Minister of state for Information Broadcasting & National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb, says a press release.
Talking to newsmen while inaugurating Media Festival 2017 at SZABIST Islamabad she said that terrorism has affected the country’s narrative and it is time to revive our cultural, tourism, heritage and sports activities. The minister said that teachers, media and other stakeholders should play their role in this regard.
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology (SZABIST) Islamabad organized media festival 2017 to promote creativity among students aiming to join media industry. The festival was organised by Media Sciences Department of the university which exhibited different media events by setting special corners of mediums used in the industry for communication. It featured a range of exhibitions display of photographs, documentaries, short-films made by students, cultural corners, print media corners, journalism corner, film, food and fashion industry stalls.
