No plot allotted in Land & Rehabilitation Directorate

Islamabad: Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA, Sheikh Anser Aziz has said that not a single plot has been allotted in the Land and Rehabilitation Directorate of the authority.

He said that the main purpose for imposing ban on the allotment of plots in Land and Rehabilitation was to probe the irregularities reported in the allotment of plots to the affectees of the Islamabad and to devise a transparent and clear policy to discourage irregularities in the future.

He said that a comprehensive alternate policy and SOPs are being devised for the allotment of plots to the Affectees which would help guarantee the rights of genuine affectees and would also discourage the fake elements in addition to ensure a transparent and easy allotment procedure.

He also negated that not a single plot was allotted after imposition of the ban on the allotment.

He also made categorically clear that ban on the allotment of plots would remain intact till the finalization of SOPs and policy in this regard.
