Nazims want WSSP to take over Hayatabad sanitation
PESHAWAR: Neighbourhood nazims have demanded the provincial government to hand over cleanliness and sanitation arrangements of Hayatabad to the Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) again.
In a meeting with the chief executive WSSP, Engineer Khan Zeb, a representative delegation of nazims under the leadership of Hayatabad neighbourhood chairman Asfandyar Khan demanded the provincial government to suspend the notification and take back the affairs of Hayatabad from Peshawar Development Authority (PDA).
Manzoor Ahmad, Masood Khattak and Imran Salarzai, chairmen of Hayatabad neighbourhood councils, were also present on the occasion.The members of the delegation lauded the services of WSSP and assured its chief executive that soon the affairs of Hayatabad would be given back to the company.
