Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) is using an online Complaints Management System to address the problems of the residents through modern cellular and social media networks.
An official page of the CCB has been launched on Facebook and the residents are now able to directly post their complaints to the relevant wings using their smartphones.
A whatsapp group involving heads of all the wings and departments has also been launched in which every head provides updates and ongoing developments about his/her department.
The main purpose of this initiative is to make easier the process for filing complaints as most of the people have now started using online social media networks through their smartphones.
In his message the CCB CEO said they are putting in their best efforts to ensure pro-people and efficient local governance in cantonments and effective defense land management.
The residents can also get the landline number of any department or wing through this Facebook page of the CCB that also provides updated information about ongoing work or activities.
