LAHORE: Punjab Assembly on Tuesday unanimously demanded stern action against the quacks while voicing concern over the havoc they are playing with the lives of citizens.
A resolution of public interest moved by PTI MPA Shenila Ruth on the Private Members Day stated that quacks practicing in the province were playing havoc with the lives of patients as most of them had either turned handicapped or lost their lives due to the wrong treatment. The resolution demanded stern action against quacks which was passed unanimously by the House.
