Two killed as train hits car near Larkana
LARKANA: Two persons were killed when a train hit a car at an unmanned level crossing about 5 km from here Tuesday. The accident took place in the jurisdiction of Baqapur Police Station Larkana when Peshawar-bound Khushal Khan Khattak Express was hit at the level crossing by a carelessly driven car.
According to police, as a result, car driver namely Aftab Malgani and his maternal uncle Muhammad Ismail Janwari died on the spot. According to station master Larkana Railways Station Ayaz Abassi, the car driver was attempting to cross the level crossing in haste when the train collided with the car.
On receiving information, police officials and teams of Rescue reached the spot. The bodies were shifted to a hospital in Larkana, where after completion of legal formalities they were handed over to the heirs. After 45 minutes delay, the train began its onward journey.
