‘Past glory of PR Karachi division to be restored’
LAHORE
Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said railway Karachi division is very important and every step will be taken to address its issues for restoration of its past glory. Addressing to PR officials at railways headquarters on Tuesday, the minister said he wanted to make strong, prosper and independent Karachi Division and Divisional superintendents. He said he would look into these affairs as railway is going to play a vital role in transportation of oil, etc. through freight cargo for ongoing development works under the CPEC. On the occasion, railways officials from Karachi Division briefed the meeting about Diesel Shed, Port Qasim and ongoing work on up-gradation of Bin Qasim. They told the minister about railway’s occupied land in the division.
