PESHAWAR: The Khyber Youth Forum on Monday held a demonstration against the political administration of Landikotal tehsil of Khyber Agency for allegedly resorting to firming on the students of the college. Led by the president, Amir Afridi, Shaukat Aziz, and others, the students, carrying banners inscribed with slogans against the political administration, gathered outside the Peshawar Press Club.
The participants asked the government to take action against those who had resorted to firing and treating the students harshly. The speakers warned of expanding the protest movement if a strict action was not taken against the errant officers.
