LAHORE/KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) froze 15 accounts of Central Power Purchasing Agency on Thursday. According to the FBR, the power agency was a defaulter of Rs2.30 billion. Recovery of Rs1 billion was made from the account. According to Geo News, the Corporate Regional Tax Office, Islamabad, carried out action against the agency while the FBR had seized accounts of the power purchase agency in Islamabad too.
