The CDA has failed to install street lights in Islamabad. In F-11/3 sector, street lights are out of order. Reduced street lighting increases the rate of crimes. Residents have raised concerns and lodged complaints in the relevant department, but to no avail.
Streets drowned in darkness are the perfect hideout for robbers who wait patiently for an easy target. Therefore many citizens avoid these streets at night. Reduced street lighting is also one of the reasons of road accidents. The chairman of the CDA should resolve the issue at the earliest.
