Pak Sarzameen Party founder Mustafa Kamal lashed out at Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar over the K-IV water project on Saturday, saying that the mayor did not know anything about the project, Geo News reported.

Kamal was addressing a press conference at his party’s headquarters, called Pakistan House, on Saturday.

The mayor did not even know where the water would come from and where it would go in the K-IV project, he said, adding that if mayor wanted to know more about the project, then he should come to him.

Kamal, who founded the PSP in March last year, further remarked, “I have made the K-IV project with my own hands.”

PSP march

On the occasion, Kamal also announced that the PSP would march towards the Chief Minister House over their 16 demands on Sunday (today).

He appealed to his followers to reach the FTC flyover bon Sharea Faisal for taking part in the march.

He also said that the PSP held an 18-day protest outside the Karachi Press Club for the rights of the people.

“We even held negotiations with the government, but our 16-point demand was not approved,” he remarked.

“We just want that people are provided with water, electricity and garbage disposal facilities.”

Criticising Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the PSP leader said that the CM should become a councillor if he liked being the in-charge of Karachi’s sewerage lines.

Kamal also met Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) city chief Naeem-ur-Rehman and invited him to join the PSP march.
