Commissioner for early completion of uplift projects

GUJRANWALA: Commissioner Shamail Ahmad Khawaja Saturday directed the relevant quarters to complete uplift projects as soon as possible.
Addressing a meeting, the commissioner said action would be taken against the responsible if any compromise was made on the quality of material used in the uplift projects.
The commissioner reviewed work on uplift projects under construction at Mandi Bahauddin.
DCO Mandi Bahauddin Muzaffar Khan Syal, MPA Pir Syed Mahfooz Hussain Mashhadi, MPA Shafqat Mahmood Gondal, Assistant Commissioner and heads of other departments also attended the meeting.
The commissioner urged the officers to extend their services for welfare of the masses and funds allocated for uplift projects should be used honestly.
He expressed his displeasure over low performance of Public Health Engineering Department and directed completing Gurumangat Seneragh Scheme as soon as possible.
He also ordered removal of encroachments from Gujrat-Mandi Bahauddin road.
He asked all ACs to ensure parking space in factories, petrol pumps and marriage halls.
He took notice of dilapidated building of boys high school at Moona Depot and apathy of relevant officers.
