Minister asks UN to take action on blasphemous sketches

MANSEHRA: Federal Minster for Hajj and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Mohammad Yousuf has said publication of blasphemous sketches is an attempt to sabotage peace and interfaith harmony in the world.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a hotel here on Saturday, Yousuf said that the United Nations should initiate action against the French magazine that tried to destroy interfaith harmony among different religions through blasphemous sketches.
“We will never allow anybody to commit blasphemy as such an act is never tolerated by people of any religion,” he said.
Yousuf said that the pope had also condemned in strong words the publication of blasphemous sketches in a magazine in France, saying one who hurt the sentiments of the people of any religion by committing blasphemy should get ready.
