‘Abuse brigade’ also influencing Nawaz: Aitzaz
LAHORE: PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Sunday said the ‘abuse brigade’ was also influencing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as evident from his language about the opposition.
Talking to media, he said there was an opposition alliance in Parliament against the government and a similar grouping was possible outside the legislature too. Aitzaz said he was still not disappointed with Imran Khan despite his statements and there was a great likelihood that the opposition parties would unite on a single point and remove the Nawaz government.
He claimed that every Pakistani was chanting ‘Go Nawaz Go’, adding that everyone including the prime minister would be in prison if a transparent probe was held against those from the PML-N. Aitzaz said the PPP was working in Punjab but they would work hard and give a surprise to the political rivals in the province.
