Abdul Basit rejects allegations of ceasefire violation
NEW DELHI: Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit Khan has made it clear to Indian authorities that Pakistan has not committed any ceasefire violation and that Indian protestations are baseless.Abdul Basit was called to Indian Foreign Affairs Ministry and he was asked questions over the death of Indian soldiers on Monday over which he offered the rebuttal. Abdul Basit said the Pakistan Army did not commit any ceasefire violation. He said India is just levelling allegations which are based on falsehood. It may be mentioned here that the Pakistan Army has declared the allegations of ceasefire violation by India as propaganda. – Sabah
