CM says allegations can’t shatter his passion for public service

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said hollow slogans won’t serve the purpose of public service rather it needs dedication and devotion so it is his message for all those who are after power that he will continue serving his people selflessly as their baseless allegations can’t shatter his passion. 

According to a handout, the chief minister said that people who are indulged in power-lust game have no preference for public interest and added that the days of politics based on impeachment are numbered as sensible people know that who have served them truly. 

Shahbaz Sharif said that national resources were plundered ruthlessly by leaders in the past but the PML-N government has put the country on the road to progress and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Furthermore, he added that these evil minded elements through their negative politics have created a lot of hurdles in public welfare projects for their vested interests and the people will reject them again in 2018 elections.

kisan package: Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government has given a historic Kisan Package for the development of small cultivators and promotion of agriculture. 

He said small cultivators will be provided interest-free loans of Rs100 billion first time in the history of the country. Similarly, historic Kisan Package of Rs100 billion is leaving a positive impact on development of agriculture sector. Small farmers are benefiting from subsidy on agriculture implements and fertilisers, he added.

According to a handout, the chief minister expressed these views while talking to Federal Minister for National Food Security Sikandar Hayat Bosan who called on him, here Friday.

Shahbaz Sharif said we are blessed with excellent crop of wheat by Allah Almighty's immeasurable grace and diligent work of cultivators.

Additionally, he said there is an increase in per acre production of wheat due to government’s efforts and subsidies on agriculture inputs. 

The chief minister said the Punjab government has set a target to purchase four million ton wheat this year and ensured to protect the rights of farmers during wheat procurement campaign. He said the ongoing wheat procurement campaign is moving forward and cultivators are provided with best facilities at centres in Punjab also gunny bags are being distributed among them through transparent and latest system. The chief minister said he is personally monitoring this campaign and won’t allow anyone to exploit interest of cultivators.
