SIALKOT: Minister of State for Religious Affairs Pir Syed Muhammad Ameenul Hasnat Shah has said that Taliban do not deserve to be called as Muslims or even humans for their barbaric crimes against innocent people.
He was speaking at a Seeratun Nabi (SAW) Conference at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here on Thursday. The minister said that Taliban had caused a huge damage to Islam through their acts. He said that after the Peshawar school massacre, it had become duty of every citizen to recognise the enemies of the society. He stressed the need for unity to eliminate terrorism from the society. He also condemned the blasphemous caricatures published by a French magazine. SCCI president Fazal Jillani, AJK former minister Sahibzada Hafiz Hamid Raza, MPA Rana Liaquat Ali, SCCI vice-president Alamgir Meyer, Dr Aslam Dar, Pir Shabbir Gillani and others were also present.
