People of Sindh facing worst energy crises: Khuhro
SUKKUR: A large number of the PPP workers gathered at the DC Chowk in Badin on Saturday where they staged a demonstration in front of the DC office for over three hours. PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro led the protest of PPP workers.
Addressing the participants of the sit-in, Khuhro condemned the federal government for its alleged tactics to deprive Sindh of its due share in all natural resources, including gas. He said the share of Sindh’s water was being stolen by Punjab.
He alleged that water crises had destroyed the agriculture sector of Sindh. He said that the people of Sindh were facing the worst energy crises.
Khuhro said that due to expected judgement of the SC in the Panama Leaks scandal some of the PML-N members seemed to have lost their mental balance. He said Sindhis would never allow the rulers to steal the water of Sindh’s share. He said that abduction of the close aides of the former president Asif Ali Zardari was a great conspiracy against them. He warned those behind such incidents to mend their ways to avoid creating sense of deprivation in Sindh.
