Unpaid staff

This refers to the news report, ‘School teachers, lab staff unpaid for over two years’ (Apr 12). The country’s education sector shows a sad picture of neglect. Model college teachers have not been promoted since 2014. New teachers haven’t been recruited in education institutions.

The concerned authorities are requested to look into the matter and resolve these issues in the better interest of students and teachers.
