Training workshop concludes
TIMERGARA: A weeklong training workshop arranged for faculty members of University of Malakand on ‘English for academic purposes’ concluded here on Monday.
The workshop was arranged with the collaboration of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) under its programme Transforming English Language Skills. The workshop was attended by 30 participants from constituent departments and colleges. University of Malakand Vice-Chancellor Dr Rehmat Ali Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.
Dr Rehmat Ali appreciated the efforts of the HEC for promotion of higher education and called for learning English as it was an international language. He said he would extend all-out support and assistance to facilitate such activities for promotion of education.
