Imam-e-Kaaba to lead prayers at Badshahi Masjid
LAHORE
Imam of Holy Kaaba Dr Saleh bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Aal Talib will reach Lahore on Sunday (tomorrow) to lead Maghrib prayers at Badshahi Masjid, said chief Khateeb of Badshahi Masjid Dr Abdul Khabeer Azad while talking to the media on Friday.
He said Imam of Kaaba would also address a gathering at Badshahi Masjid after Maghrib prayers and also offer special prayers for the solidarity and security of Pakistan and the Muslim world.
He asked the intending participants to reach the mosque well before time, perform ablution at their homes to avoid hassle and bring no additional items or gadgets with them due to security reasons.
He said men would enter the mosque through the main gate facing Greater Iqbal Park and women through the gate at food street side.
