‘Faith healer’ rapes minor girl

GUJRANWALA: A girl was raped by a ‘faith healer’ at Trigre Village on Tuesday.
The daughter of Younis of Jagna village had gone to Saleem for spiritual treatment, but he raped her. The Jinnah Road police have registered a case against the absconding accused. Meanwhile, the victim’s medical examination proved that she had been raped. Locals told The News that the accused was a fake faith healer and provided treatment to issueless couples through his agent Nusrat Bibi. They said that the Cantonment police had registered rape cases against the accused, but he remained unpunished.
