‘Education imperative for development of nation’

PML-N leader Barrister Danyal Chaudhry has said that any nation or country couldn’t develop unless its whole population is equipped with wealth of education.

Addressing annual day ceremony of Woods Montessori & School System at Rawalpindi Arts Council, he said that people know the importance of education and effectiveness of education.

He emphasised that the government would help those children for getting admission in the educational institutions who are not in a position to bear expenses. Nation will progress speedily in case the target of hundred per cent literacy rate be achieved, he added.

Patron-in-Chief Woods School Prof. Dr. Nayyer Masood, Managing Director Dr. Nabeel Ahmed, Director Information Hamid Javaid Awan, former Director Information Sana Ullah Akhtar, Information Officer Faiz-ul-Islam Qureshi, Haji Ifitikhar, Principal Woods School Mrs. Nighat Rafiq, Vice Principal Miss Seemal Suhail, parents, children and their relative attended the function.

According to the results, two children Saim Gul and Mohid Amir of Play Group (Boys Group) got first position, while Mahak Batool (Girls Group) got first postion. In Nursery boys Muhammad Ayan Ali first position, Irfa Imran got first position in girls, Eeshal Hashmi got first position in Prep girls and Muhammad Ammar stood first in Prep. Boys Section. In Grade 1, Khayam Aamir and Syeda Fatima Zohra got First position, in Grade 2 Muhammad Shameer acquired First Position, Abdul Moeez and Gladus Samual got first position in Grade 3, Sawaira Atiq got First Postion in Grade four while Noor-ur-Rehman and Rabia Nawaz secured First position in Grade 5. Numra Saleem, Muhammad Muzammil and Muqaddas Saleem got first position in Grade 6, 7 and 8 respectively. Sidra Sarwar was declared the best teacher of the year 2016-17. Vice Principal (Primary Section) Noureen Tahir was awarded trophy and cash on her outstanding administrative performance.
