A newborn baby was recovered on Friday, a day after being kidnapped from the Qatar Hospital in Orangi Town, Geo News reported.
A woman impersonating a doctor had taken the baby boy away from his grandmother on Thursday, police said, adding that the kidnapper was clearly visible in CCTV footage.
The woman was arrested in Orangi Town, and she told the police where the baby might have been kept. Acting on the information, a police team raided a house in Machar Colony and found the baby.
