Balijee Bridge International begins today
KARACHI: Pakistani bridge stars are set to demonstrate their might in the Balijee Bridge International Bridge Championship, which begins on Thursday (today) at Lahore Gymkhana.
This Championship is supported by Aijaz Ahmed of the House of Yummy in memory of Muhammad Iqbal, popularly known as Balijee amongst the bridge playing community of Pakistan.
Champions from Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Abbottabad and Lahore will vie for the top honours and cash prizes in the pairs’ event over the first one day and a half and the team event on the remaining days. There is one player from India and a couple from Kuwait in the event.
Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF) has provided Bridge Mate Technology, which is now in use in all the bridge playing countries.
